2027 PG Mikey White Proves He’s Built for the Big Stage
Kenosha, WI — In a season already filled with anticipation, Mikey White of Kenosha Bradford has been making waves as one of the most dynamic point guards in the Class of 2027. Over the past week, White delivered back-to-back electrifying performances that solidified his reputation as a rising star while leading Kenosha Bradford to two critical victories.
Against Indian Trail, White showcased his poise and sharpshooting abilities, dropping 20 points, dishing out 3 assists, and connecting on five three-pointers. His ability to control the tempo and stretch the defense with his perimeter shooting was pivotal as Kenosha Bradford secured a hard-fought win over their local rivals.
But White wasn’t done.
Just days later, the 6-foot guard took his game to another level against Manitowoc Lincoln. He erupted for a career-high 36 points, again recording 3 assists, and an astonishing eight three-pointers. White’s shooting display left the Manitowoc defense scrambling for answers as Kenosha Bradford cruised to another victory.
Consistency Beyond the Stats
While the numbers are impressive, White’s impact goes beyond the box score. His leadership, decision-making, and ability to create space for teammates are integral to Bradford’s success. Monte Nelson, White’s trainer, has worked closely with the young guard and sees firsthand the intangibles that make him special.
“Mikey’s a special player,” Nelson said. “He doesn’t just score—he leads, he reads the game, and he makes everyone around him better. That’s what separates him.”
White’s talent hasn’t gone unnoticed at the next level. He currently holds a Division I offer from Arkansas-Pine Bluff and competes on the highly competitive 3SSB Circuit for Power 5, one of the top AAU programs in the country. His experience on the national stage has helped refine his game and prepare him for the challenges of high school basketball in Wisconsin.
Eyes on the Future
As the season progresses, White’s performances are sure to draw more attention from college programs. With his combination of elite shooting, playmaking, and leadership, he’s already establishing himself as one of the top guards to watch in Wisconsin’s Class of 2027.
For now, though, Mikey White remains locked in on leading Kenosha Bradford to continued success. If his recent performances are any indication, opponents should be prepared for a long night whenever he steps on the court.
